Internship Opportunities at Hope Roots
Hope Roots is a nonprofit therapy practice focused on providing trauma therapy services to individuals and groups in Fort Collins, Colorado. If you are interested in body-centered, holistic healing, Hope Roots may be a fit for your internship.
Non-clinical Internships
Non-clinical internships are available for students looking for experience in nonprofit development, marketing, and event planning. Send information about your program requirements and your work experience to info @ hoperoots.org for consideration.
Clinical Internships
Clinical internships are only available to students enrolled in Master’s level Social Work programs at this time. Due to our small staff, we are most interested in connecting with individuals who will complete their terminal internship with Hope Roots to ensure the continuity of intentional care of clients we serve.
*For 2025-2026, Hope Roots does not currently have office space for more full time clinical staff, but will consider social work interns looking for experience with development and other non-clinical work.*

) Which particular populations are you most interested in serving? If you are a social work student, are you open to a non-clinical internship position?
) After reading the Guiding Principles of Hope Roots: What stands out to you? Which principles do you feel most passionate about?
) What certifications and/or trainings have you completed?
) For a clinical internship position, are you willing to complete the EMDR Basic Training during or prior to your first month at Hope Roots? Are there other training programs you hope to pursue?
